Ingredients:

   1 1/2  cups          quick cooking oatmeal
     1/2  cup           flour
   3      tablespoons   brown sugar
     1/2  teaspoon      baking soda
     1/4  teaspoon      salt
   1 1/2  cups          milk
   2      tablespoons   melted butter
 

Preparation:

Combine the oatmeal, flour, sugar, baking soda and salt in a bowl. Stir in the milk and butter. Drop the batter in 3 inch rounds onto a hot oiled griddle or frying pan. When holes appear all over the surface of the flapjacks, turn them to brown the other side. Serve hot. Makes 24
