Stir-Fried Vegetables (California Style)

Ingredients:

   3      large         carrots
   1      cup           sliced mushrooms
   2      medium        zucchini squash
   1      large         red onion
   1      large         green pepper
   1      can           water chestnuts
     1/3  cup           teriyaki sauce
   2      tablespoons   vegetable oil
 

Preparation:

Other vegetables such as broccoli sprigs, cauliflower, diagonally sliced celery, etc., may be used. Slice vegetables. Place vegetables in frying pan with marinade made with the oil and teriyaki sauce. Marinate for 1 hour, turning several times. Fry vegetables until tender, but still crunchy, about 5 minutes. Serve immediately. Rice is good to serve with this.
