Preparation:
Prepare a wood or charcoal fire. Slice the tomatoes about one-quarter inch thick. Spray or brush olive oil on each side of the sliced bread; grill lightly about 2 minutes on each side.
Rub the grilled bread with the garlic clove and place the mozzarella on top of the bread. Place a basil leaf on top of each piece of cheese. Layer the tomato slices on top of the cheese. Sprinkle with the vinegar, salt and fresh cracked pepper, and serve. |
