Prosciutto And Sun Dried Tomatoes

Ingredients:

  1                Lb.  pasta -- favorite are penne
                        or farfalle
     1/4            C.  fresh chopped basil
     1/4            C.  extra virgin olive oil
     1/4         Tbsp.  butter
  4             Cloves  garlic -- minced or 8
     1/2            C.  chopped and drained sun dried tomatoes -- use those
                        bottled
  1                 In  olive oil
     1/2            C.  prosciutto -- slice into strips
                        crushed red pepper to taste
                        freshly shaved Romano or parmesan to taste
 

Preparation:

After doing all of your chopping, boil the water and add the pasta. In a skillet, heat up the 1/4 cup olive oil and butter. Add the garlic. Saut for about 1-2 minutes... before browing...Then add in your prosciutto, red crushed pepper flakes. Saut for another 2 minutes, until the prosciutto is just beginning to brown. Add in the sun dried tomatoes and basil and saut for 1-2 minutes. Once pasta is drained, toss in the sauce serve. Add freshly shaved cheese to taste!
