Ingredients:

   3      cups          Water
     3/4  cup           Dried garbanzo beans*
   2      tablespoons   Vegetable oil
   1      cup           Sliced mushrooms
   2                    Green onions (with tops) -- Thinly sliced
   1      medium        Carrot -- shredded 
   1      Clove         Garlic -- finely chopped
   1      tablespoon    Lemon juice
   1      teaspoon      Prepared horseradish
   1      teaspoon      Prepared mustard
     1/4  teaspoon      Salt
     1/4  teaspoon      Pepper
 

Preparation:

*substitute: 1 cn (16 ounces) garbanzo beans, Drained Heat water and beans to boiling. Boil uncovered 2 minutes; reduce heat. Cover and simmer 1 to 1-1/4 hours or until beans are tender (do not boil or beans will burst); drain.Heat oil in 10-inch skillet over medium heat. Cook mushrooms, onions, carrot and garlic in oil about 4 minutes. Stir in beans and remaining ingredients. Cook about 5 minutes or until mixture is hot.
