Corn 'N Beef One-Dish

Ingredients:

  1         Tablespoon  light olive oil
  2             Cloves  garlic -- chopped
  1              Large  onion -- chopped
  1                     green pepper -- chopped
  1              Pound  ground sirloin
  2               Cans  diced tomatoes -- (14.5 ounce)
  1                Can  whole kernel corn -- (15.25 ounce)
  1           Teaspoon  salt
  1           Teaspoon  chili powder -- (1 to 2)
 

Preparation:

Heat oil in Dutch oven on medium-high heat. Saute garlic, onion and pepper until onion is clear. Add ground beef, brown and crumble. Add tomatoes, corn salt, and chili powder. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat to low, cover, and cook for about an hour. Serve in large soup bowls over hot, cooked macaroni.
