Corn Casserole

Ingredients:

   1 1/2  Pounds        lean ground beef
   1 1/2  Teaspoons     salt
     1/2  Teaspoon      pepper
     1/4  Cup           green pepper -- chopped
   1      Cup           onion -- finely chopped
   1      Clove         garlic -- minced or pressed
   1      Cup           chili sauce
     1/4  Cup           water
   1      Tablespoon    chili powder
   1      Package       frozen corn -- thawed 10 oz.
 

Preparation:

Place meat, salt and pepper in a 3 quart casserole. Microwave at high (100%) until meat is no longer pink, 6 to 8 minutes, stirring twice to break meat up. Add green pepper, onion and garlic. Microwave at high (100= %) until onions are transparent, 3 to 4 minutes, stirring once during cookin= g time. Stir in chili sauce, water, chili powder and corn. Microwave at high (100= %) until hot and bubbly, 4 to 5 minutes, stirring once during cooking time. Serve with rice. Makes 6 servings.
