Broccoli In Savory Mushroom Butter Sauce

Ingredients:

   3      packages      frozen broccoli spears
     1/2  cup           sweet cream butter
   2 1/2  teaspoons     instant chicken bouillon
   2      medium        onions -- sliced and
                        -- separated into
                        -- rings
   1      jar           sliced mushrooms -- drained
   2      teaspoons     cornstarch
     3/4  cup           water
   1      teaspoon      chopped pimento
 

Preparation:

Cook broccoli according to package directions. Meanwhile, in large skillet melt butter; stir in chicken bouillon, onions and mushrooms. Saut‚ until onions are crisply tender. Dissolve cornstarch in water; stir into vegetable mixture. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until thickened. Stir in pimento. Serve over hot broccoli.
