Aunt Mildred's Noodle Kugel

Ingredients:

 100      grams         butter
 220      grams         noodles -- uncooked
   3                    eggs -- beaten
 100      grams         cottage cheese
 500      milliliter    milk
  65      grams         sugar
   7 1/2  milliliter    vanilla extract
 350      grams         crushed pineapple with juice
                        cornflake crumbs -- to top
 

Preparation:

1. Melt butter in a 22x33 pan. 2. Add noodles. 3. Combine remaining ingredients, except crumbs, spread evenly over noodles. 4. Top with crumbs. 5. Bake at 175 øC for about an hour. Author's Notes: This recipe is interesting because you don't cook the noodles first. This recipe is very simple, but it does taste a little pastier than recipes that require the noodles to be cooked first. It also comes out very flatxmost of the kugel recipes I've made in the past use twice as many noodles in the same size pan. I found that some of the things can be increased, i.e., add more noodles, more pineapple, more cottage c
