2 tablespoons grated fresh ginger
4 cups stock or water
3/4 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon cumin seeds -- toasted
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
one lemon -- juice of
fresh coriander leaves
Preparation:
1.Put grated ginger and stock into a pot and bring to a boil. 2.Simmer 30 minutes till the water has reduced by half. Add salt, cumin and pepper. Simmer for another 2 minutes. Squeeze in lemon juice and garnish with coriander.
