Crockpot Home-Style Jamaican Chicken

Ingredients:

  2              large  onions -- chopped
  1              bunch  green onions -- chopped
  29            ounces  stewed tomatoes
  1         tablespoon  curry powder
     1/2      teaspoon  ground black pepper
     1/2      teaspoon  ground allspice
  2          teaspoons  granulated sugar
     1/2      teaspoon  tabasco sauce
     1/4           cup  red wine vinegar
  1           teaspoon  dried thyme
  2                     bay leaves
  4                     boned and skinned chicken breast halves -- cubed
     1/4           cup  water
  2               cups  long-grain white rice
 

Preparation:

Combine all ingredients, except rice, in 5 quart crockpot. Cook on low setting for 8-10 hours. Cook rice according to package directions. Serve cooked chicken mixture with cooked rice.
