   8      pounds        chicken pieces -- skinned
   1      8 ounces bot  Russian or spice sweet French dressing
   1      envelope      dry onion soup mix -- (1 oz.)
   1      13 ounces jar  apricot preserves
 

Preparation:

Place chicken in a lightly greased large roasting pan. Combine dressing, soup mix, and preserves; spread over chicken. Bake at 300 F for 2 hours or until done.
