Chicken Cordon Bleu - Lasagna Style

Ingredients:

  2              large  boned and skinned chicken breast halves -- cooked
                        and
                        shredded
  2             slices  ham
  2             slices  swiss cheese
  1                can  cream of mushroom soup
  1                can  mushrooms -- drained
     1/2           cup  chicken broth
  2             ounces  parmesan cheese -- grated
                        lasagna noodles
 

Preparation:

Layer the ingredients in 8"x8" baking dish (I used two loaf pans, because that is better for serving my family) as follows: 1. Spread mushrooms in the bottom of the pan. 2. Pour Chicken broth over mushrooms. 3. Place one layer uncooked lasagna noodles. 4. Spread chicken over lasagna noodles. 5. Place ham slices over chicken. 6. Place Swiss cheese slices over ham. 7. Place another layer of uncooked lasagna noodles. 8. Spread Cream of Mushroom soup over noodles. 9. Cover with Parmesan. (I prefer fresh grated to the stuff in jars.) Cook covered with tented foil for 30 - 45 minutes in 350ยบ oven, until bubbly. Uncover last 5-10 minutes to allow cheese to brown. I froze uncooked, and will cook for one hour like I do with lasagna if still frozen.
