Ingredients:

  3             pounds  chicken fryer
     1/3           cup  Italian Salad dressing
  1 1/2           cups  raw rice...long grain
  2               cups  stewed tomatoes...chopped
     1/2           cup  Dry white wine *
  1           teaspoon  Italian seasoning
     1/8      teaspoon  celery seed
  1 1/2      teaspoons  salt
  1            package  Brussels sprouts...frozen
 

Preparation:

Cut chicken into serving pieces. Rinse chicken pieces and pat dry. In Skillet, saute chicken in Italian salad dressing over medium heat. Mix rice, tomatoes, wine, seasonings and brussel Sprouts in the Crockpot. Top with chicken. Cover and cook on LOW setting for 4-6 hours. 8 servings, about 3 quarts. * NOTE: For those of you who do not want to use wine, you may use apple cider if desired.
