Hawaiian Nut Bread

Ingredients:

     2/3           cup  sugar
     1/3           cup  shortening
  2                     egg
  1                cup  banana
     1/2           cup  macadamia nuts
  2               cups  flour
  1           teaspoon  baking powder
     1/2      teaspoon  baking soda
     1/4      teaspoon  salt
 

Preparation:

cream together sugar and shortening, until fluffy beat in eggs stir in bananas, pineapple, and macadamia nuts in another bowl, combine dry ingredients add dry ingredients to banana mixture, stir until smooth spoon into greased 9x5 loaf pan bake @ 350 for 50-60 minutes remove from oven remove from pan to cool on a rack wrap in foil or plastic, and allow to set for 8-48 hours serve at room temperature
