Cornmeal Rolls

Ingredients:

  2           packages  yeast
     1/2           cup  water
     2/3           cup  cornmeal
  2               cups  milk
  1              stick  oleo -- (butter)
     1/2           cup  sugar
  1         tablespoon  salt
  3                     eggs -- beaten
  6               cups  flour -- approximately
 

Preparation:

Cook cornmeal in milk. Remove from stove and add oleo, sugar, salt and cool to lukewarm. Soften yeast in water and add beaten eggs; add cornmeal mixture and stir; add enough flour to make soft dough. Let rise to double in size. make into buns. Bake at 400 degrees for 15 to 20 minutes or until done
