Quick Swedish Meat Balls

Ingredients:

   2      pounds        ground chuck
   2      packages      cream cheese -- (3 oz.)
     1/4  cup           dry onion soup mix
     1/2  teaspoon      salt
     1/2  teaspoon      nutmeg
   2      cups          soft bread crumbs
     1/2  cup           milk
   2      tablespoons   all purpose flour
   2      cups          milk or beef bouillon
 

Preparation:

Mix thorougMy the meat, cheese, soup mix, salt, nutmeg, bread crumbs and 1/2 cup milk. Shape into about 40 small balls, brown lightly, turning to brown on all sides. Remove meat balls; put in casserole. Leave 1/4 cup fat in skillet. Blend flour and fat; stir in 2 cups milk or bouillon. Cook until gravy thickens. Pour over meat balls; bake in 350~ oven for 45 minutes to 1 hour.
