Preparation:
Prepare barbecue (medium-high heat) or preheat broiler. Heat oil in heavy large skillet over medium-high heat. Add shallot and garlic and saute until tender, about 5 minutes. Add red pepper and saute 3 minutes. Add wine and boil 2 minutes. Transfer mixture to processor. Puree until smooth. Season steaks with salt and pepper. Grill or broil to desired doneness, about 4 minutes per side for medium rare. Serve steaks with pepper sauce.
