Preparation:
Prepare coals or preheat gas grill to medium-high or preheat broiler.
In a small bowl, stir together garlic, vinegar, oregano, thyme, pepper, salt, red pepper flakes and oil. Spread mixture on both sides of flank steak.
Grill or broil meat to desired doneness, about 9 minutes per side for medium rare.
Cut meat across the grain into thin slices and serve.
