Ingredients:

  4                     garlic cloves -- minced
  2        tablespoons  verdi balsamic vinegar
  2          teaspoons  dried oregano
  2          teaspoons  dried thyme
  1           teaspoon  ground black pepper
  1           teaspoon  salt
     1/4      teaspoon  dried crushed red pepper flakes
  2        tablespoons  pure or extra virgin olive oil
  2             pounds  flank steak
 

Preparation:

Prepare coals or preheat gas grill to medium-high or preheat broiler. In a small bowl, stir together garlic, vinegar, oregano, thyme, pepper, salt, red pepper flakes and oil. Spread mixture on both sides of flank steak. Grill or broil meat to desired doneness, about 9 minutes per side for medium rare. Cut meat across the grain into thin slices and serve. Flank steak is one of those naturally easy beef dishes to prepare. You can grill this in the summer time, but it's equally as good cooked under the broiler.
