Teriyaki Steak Skewers

Ingredients:

     1/2           cup  A-1® Steak Sauce
  2        tablespoons  packed brown sugar
  2        tablespoons  soy sauce
  2             cloves  garlic -- minced
  1           teaspoon  ground ginger
  1              pound  boneless beef sirloin steak -- 1 inch thick
  2                     red and/or green bell peppers -- cut into squares
  2               cups  fresh or canned pineapple chunks
 

Preparation:

Mix steak sauce, brown sugar, soy sauce, garlic and ginger. Thinly slice steak; place in nonmetal bowl or plastic bag. Add 1/4 cup sauce mixture; stir to coat. Cover; refrigerate at least 1 hour, stirring often. Remove meat from marinade; discard marinade. Alternately thread steak, peppers and pineapple onto 12-inch skewers. (Soak the skewers in water.) Grill or broil for 5 minutes or until desired doneness, turning and brushing occasionally with remaining sauce mixture.
