Ingredients:

  1 1/2         pounds  ground beef
  1                     onion -- chopped
  3               cans  {14 1/2 oz. each}  beef broth
  1         28 oz. can  diced tomatoes -- undrained
  1        16 oz. pkg.  frozen peas and carrots
  1           teaspoon  black pepper
 

Preparation:

In a soup pot, cook ground beef and onion over medium-high heat until beef is brown and onion is tender, stirring occasionally; drain. Add broth, tomatoes, peas and carrots, and black pepper; mix well. Reduce heat to medium and simmer, uncovered, 15 minutes, or until vegetables are tender.
