Chili Tacos

Ingredients:

     1/2         pound  lean ground beef
     1/2           cup  chopped onion
     1/2           cup  chopped green bell pepper
  1              clove  garlic -- finely minced
  2          teaspoons  chili powder -- or to taste
     1/4      teaspoon  cumin seed
     1/2      teaspoon  oregano -- crumbled
     1/2      teaspoon  celery seeds
  1                can  whole kernel corn -- 5.8oz, drained
  2              drops  hot pepper sauce -- to 3 drops
  1                can  tomato sauce -- 8oz
     1/2           can  refried beans -- 3/4 cup
                        tortilla -- or corn chips
 

Preparation:

Microwave directions: Crumble ground beef in 1 1/2 quart visions saucepan. Add chopped onion, garlic and green pepper. Cover. Cook in microwave using high power for 6 minutes, stirring twice. Drain off fat and liquid. Stir in seasoning, corn, hot pepper sauce, tomato sauce and refried beans. Cover. Cook 5 minutes, stirring once.. Serve on a crisp tortilla, as filling for crepes or omelets, or place on crisp lettuce leaves, then roll and eat.
