Browning Bag Chuck Roast

Ingredients:

   3      cloves        garlic -- chopped
   2      medium        onions -- chopped
   2      stalks        celery -- chopped
   1                    bell pepper -- (cubed)
   1      medium bag    baby carrots
   4      pounds        chuck roast -- up to 5
   1      large         oven bag -- floured
                        creole seasoning
 

Preparation:

Place roast in a pre-floured oven bag, salted and peppered. Add all ingredients and spread around the roast. Tie the bag and poke holes in the top. Place in a large baking pan, and bake at 375 degrees for 1-1/2 hours or until tender TO MAKE GRAVY: Remove roast from bag, and empty drippings into medium saucepan. Add 3 tablespoons flour and stir well until thick. (you may use more or less flour depending on the desired thickness of the gravy)
