Ingredients:

     1/2  cup           red wine
   1      pound         beef chuck -- cut in 1 inch cubes
   2      tablespoons   oil
   1      small         onion -- grated
     1/4  cup           chopped parsley
   1 1/2  teaspoons     salt
     1/4  teaspoon      basil
     1/8  teaspoon      pepper
   1      medium        green pepper -- cut into 1 inch
   1      cubes         -- blanched
   8      small         white parboiled onions
   8                    cherry tomatoes
 

Preparation:

Combine wine, oil, onion, parsley, salt, basil and pepper In large bowl. Add beef; cover and marinate in refrigerator over- night. Drain and reserve marinade. Place beef with vegetables alternating on 4 long skewers. Broil in preheated broiler or over glowing coals for 5 minutes on each side. Brush frequently with reserved marinade. Serve over rice or with potatoes. Makes 4 servings.
