Preparation:
Cook spaghetti according to package directions; drain. Stir 1 egg, 1/3 cup Parmesan cheese, and margarine into hot spaghetti. Press the mixture evenly into the bottom and up the sides of a buttered 9 in. pie plate.
Combine remaining egg, ricotta cheese, and basil. spread over crust; set aside. Cook sausage, mushrooms, onion, pepper and garlic in a skillet until the meat is brown; drain fat.
Stir in pizza sauce. Spoon the meat mixture over the ricotta mixture. Sprinkle with 1 TB Parmesan cheese. Bake in a 350~ oven for 25 min. or until the crust is set. Sprinkle with mozzarella cheese. Let stand 5 min. Cut into wedges. Makes 6 servings. |
