Pumpkin-Spice Pie

Ingredients:

  1                cup  canned pumpkin
  1                cup  light brown sugar
  1           teaspoon  freshly ground nutmeg
  1           teaspoon  ground cinnamon
  1           teaspoon  ground allspice
     1/2      teaspoon  powdered ginger
  3                     egg
  14            ounces  evaporated milk
  1                     pie crust
 

Preparation:

Combine pumpkin, sugar, and spices in a food processor process to a smooth puree add eggs-mix well add evaporated milk-mix well pour into a prepared pie crust bake @ 425 degrees for 15 minutes bake @ 350 degrees for 25-35 minutes, until a toothpick, inserted in the center, comes out clean remove from oven to cool serve chilled or at room temperature, garnished with a dollop of whipped cream
