Mama Dip's Pecan Pie

Ingredients:

     1/4  pound         butter or margarine -- melted
   1      cup           sugar
   1      cup           light karo syrup -- corn syrup
   3                    eggs -- beaten
   1      cup           chopped pecans
   1                    unbaked pie shell -- (9-inch)
 

Preparation:

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. 2. In saucepan, melt butter, but do not brown. 3. Mix in sugar and corn syrup until sugar dissolves. Stir in eggs. Mix well. Stir in pecans. 4. Pour into the pie shell and bake for 1 hour.
