Ingredients:

   2                    eggs
     3/4  cup           light brown sugar -- packed
   2      tablespoons   sugar
   1      teaspoon      cinnamon
     1/2  teaspoon      nutmeg
     1/2  teaspoon      ginger
     1/4  teaspoon      cloves
     1/4  teaspoon      allspice
     1/2  teaspoon      salt
   1      pound         canned pumpkin
   2      cans          {5 1/3 oz each} evaporated milk
   1                    unbaked 9-inch pie shell
                        whipped cream -- (optional)
 

Preparation:

1. Beat eggs; stir in sugars, spices, pumpkin and evaporated milk. 2. Set pie shell on oven rack and pour in filling; bake in preheated 400 F. oven 45 minutes, or until a knife inserted in center comes out clean. 3. Cool slightly and serve with whipped cream, if desired.
