Preparation:
Mix cut apples, peaches or apricots with usual pie seasonings, add 1 Tablespoon extra flour or tapioca or 1/2 Tablespoon extra cornstarch and place in a gallon size freezer bag. Press into pie pan and freeze-remove pan when fruit is frozen, about 48 hours later. When ready to use, place frozen filling in pie shell, add top crust, if desired, and bake. |
