Boston Cream Pie With Peanuts

Ingredients:

     3/4  cup           cold milk
     1/2  cup           heavy cream
   1      package       instant banana cream pudding
     1/4  cup           peanuts -- finely chopped
   1                    baked 9-inch cake layer -- cooled and split
   2      tablespoons   margarine
   1      square        {1 oz} unsweetened chocolate
     2/3  cup           confectioners' sugar
   2      tablespoons   plus 1 teaspoon boiling water
                        chopped peanuts
 

Preparation:

1. Pour milk and heavy cream into mixing bowl; add pudding and slowly beat with egg beater for 2 minutes. 2. Mix in 1/4 cup chopped peanuts. 3. Place bottom half of cake layer on serving dish; top with banana-nut filling. 4. Let set 5 minutes; top with remaining half layer. 5. Melt together margarine and unsweetened chocolate; stir in confectioners' sugar and boiling water. 6. Beat well until blended; pour over cake. 7. Garnish top with chopped peanuts; chill at least 1 hour before servin
