Preparation:
Pastry
Mix flour, baking powder and salt. Cut in shortening. Add milk, mix
and roll. Put on cobbler, making a few slashes on top. Bake 25 minutes
in 350 degree oven.
Slice peaches and sprinkle lightly with lemon juice. Combine sugar,
spices and flour; mix with peaches. Add water if they are not juicy
enough. Place in buttered baking dish and dot with butter. Cover with
dough and make a few slashes on top. Bake 25 minutes in 350 degree
