  2                Cup  flour
  2           Teaspoon  baking powder
     1/4      Teaspoon  salt
     1/2           Cup  shortening
  5         Tablespoon  milk
                        --BLACKBERRY COBBLER:--
  4                Cup  washed berries
  1                Cup  sugar
  2         Tablespoon  flour
  2         Tablespoon  lemon juice
  1           Teaspoon  cinnamon
     1/2      Teaspoon  nutmeg
     1/8      Teaspoon  salt
     1/3           Cup  water
  2         Tablespoon  butter
                        --PEACH COBBLER:--
  1              quart  peaches -- peeled, sliced & pitted
     1/2           Cup  water (if peaches do not make too much juice)
                        Butter
  2                Cup  sugar
     1/2      Teaspoon  cinnamon
     1/2      Teaspoon  nutmeg
  3         Tablespoon  flour
                        Lemon juice
 

Preparation:

Pastry Mix flour, baking powder and salt. Cut in shortening. Add milk, mix and roll. Put on cobbler, making a few slashes on top. Bake 25 minutes in 350 degree oven. Slice peaches and sprinkle lightly with lemon juice. Combine sugar, spices and flour; mix with peaches. Add water if they are not juicy enough. Place in buttered baking dish and dot with butter. Cover with dough and make a few slashes on top. Bake 25 minutes in 350 degree oven.
