Ingredients:

   2      small pkgs    Vanilla pudding mix -- , instant
   1      large can     Strawberry pie filling
   2      6 oz. pkgs    Coconut
   1      large can     Fruit cocktail -- , drained
   1      large can     Crushed pineapple -- , drained
   2      8 oz          Cool Whip®
   1 1/2  cups          Chopped nuts
   1      jar           Maraschino cherries -- , drained and rinsed

Preparation:

Make cake layers according to package directions. Prepare instant pudding according to package directions. Refrigerate until set. Place 1 cake layer in the bottom of a punch bowl. Place in layers the following: pudding, strawberry pie filling, fruit cocktail, pineapple, nuts and Cool Whip. Add second layer and repeat the layering the same as the first. Garnish with coconut and cherries.
