Foolproof Chocolate Pecan Fudge

Ingredients:

   1      5 oz. can     evaporated milk
   1 2/3  cups          sugar
     1/2  teaspoon      salt
   2      cups          miniature marshmallows
   1 1/2  cups          semisweet chocolate chips
   1      cup           chopped pecans
   1      teaspoon      vanilla extract
 

Preparation:

Coat an 8-inch square baking dish with nonstick cooking spray. In a large saucepan, combine evaporated milk, sugar, and salt over low heat. Bring to a boil and boil 5 minutes, stirring constantly. Remove from heat and add marshmallows, chocolate chips, pecans, and vanilla; stirring until marshmallows and chocolate chips are melted. Pour into the baking dish and allow to cool until firm. Cut into 1-inch squares and store in an airtight container until ready to serve.
