Ingredients:

1 Package dried green split peas -- (16 ounce)
3 carrots sliced
2 Stalks celery diced
1/4 Cup fresh parsley chopped
1 bay leaf
salt and pepper to taste
2 Cups ham trimmed of fat and diced
1 onion chopped
3 Packages sugar substitute
2 Cloves garlic minced
6 Cups hot water |

Preparation:
Wash peas and place in crockpot. Add remaining ingredients to
crockpot. Do not stir. Cover and cook on HIGH 45 hours or on LOW 810
hours or until peas are very soft. Remove bay leaf. May be frozen. |
