Preparation:
Pass the cheese through a sieve. Combine it with sugar, flour, and salt .
Beat the egg yolks well and add to the cheese paste.Add sweet cream, cinnamon and vanilla.Beat egg whites and fold them in slowly. Crumble the cookies or graham crackers evenly and add sugar.
Put aside some of the crumbs for the top of the cake. Butter a baking
sheet, cover with a layer of crumbs and then with the cheese paste and
cover with crumbs again. Bake in a moderate oven for one hour. |
