Louisiana Sea Shells

Ingredients:

   1                    link cajun sausage
     1/2  pound         shrimp or crawfish tails -- peeled
     1/2                onion -- chopped
   1      small   bag   medium pasta shells
     1/2  bunch         green onions
     1/2  tablespoon    crushed garlic
   8      ounces        salsa
   3      tablespoons   parmesan cheese -- grated
   1      tablespoon    butter
   4      ounces        heavy cream
 

Preparation:

Saute onion in butter until opaque. Add garlic and sausage and cook for 1 minute. Add salsa and shrimp. Cook until shrimp are done. About 3 minutes. Slowly add cream and green onions. Reduce heat until thickened. About 3 minutes. Add parmesan cheese and pour over cooked shells and toss. Serve immediately.
