New-Fashioned Grilled Cheese

Ingredients:

     1/4           cup  hellmann's real or light mayonnaise or
                        low fat mayonnaise dressing
     1/4      teaspoon  dried oregano -- basil, tarragon or
                        -- dill
  8             slices  bread
  4             slices  favorite cheese -- (4 ounces)
  2                     tomato slices -- (optional)
 

Preparation:

In a small bowl combine mayonnaise with dried herbs; spread on 1 side of each bread slice. Layer cheese on 4 bread slices, with mayonnaise on outside. Cook on preheated griddle or in skillet, turning once, until cheese is melted and bread is lightly toasted.
