Preparation:
heat oil in a skillet, over a medium flame add yams, bell peppers, onions, and thyme heat and stir for 6-8 minutes season to taste with salt and white pepper remove from heat add crumbled bread-mix well moisten with enough juice from the canned tomatoes to hold mixture together spoon into apples pour the tomatoes and remaining juice into a casserole arrange the stuffed apples on top bake at 400 degrees for 25-30 minutes, until apples are tender serve hot |
