1/2 cup apple juice
1/4 cup dry white wine
1/4 teaspoon grated lemon zest |
Preparation:
In a medium nonstick saucepan, heat the oil. Saute' the shallots, gingerroot, allspice, salt and pepper until the shallots are softened, about 3 minutes. Stir in teh pears, apple, apple juice, wine and lemon zest; cook, s tirring gently, until the fruit is very tender, about 15 minute |
