Preparation:
halve and carefully hollow-out oranges, reserving pulp for another use combine 4 cups water and 2 cups sugar in a saucepan heat and stir to dissolve sugar add orange shells and poach gently for 10 minutes drain and cool meanwhile, combine 1 cup water and 1/2 cup sugar in a saucepan heat and stir to dissolve sugar add cranberries to sugar mixture heat to a boil, reduce heat, and simmer for 5 minutes remove from heat and stir in candied ginger chill well spoon into orange shells serve chilled |
