Ingredients:

   2      medium        granny smith apples
                        peeled cored & cubed
   2      medium        red delicious apples
                        peeled cored & cubed
   2      medium        golden delicious apples
                        peeled cored & cubed
                        orange sections from 1 small orange
     2/3  cup           apple juice
   2      teaspoons     cinnamon
   1      small         orange -- zest of
     1/4  cup           packed brown sugar

Preparation:

In saucepan, combine the granny smith, red delicious, golden delicious and orange. Stir in apple juice, cinnamon, orange zest and 1/2 c. Water. Simmer. Add brown sugar, cover and continue to simmer till apples are tender. Remove to a bowl. Let cool. Refrigerate till ready to serve. Approximately 12 minutes.
