Ingredients:

   1 1/2  Cups          Sugar
     3/4  Cup           Light Corn Syrup
   1 1/4  Cups          Raw Peanuts
   3      Tablespoons   Butter Or Margarine
   1      Teaspoon      Baking Soda
 

Preparation:

Combine sugar and syrup in large saucepan. Cook over med-low heat, stirring constantly until sugar dissolves. Cover and cook over medium heat 2 to 3 minutes to wash down sugar crystals from sides of pan. Add peanuts; cook, stirring occasionally, to hard crack stage=20 (300 degrees on candy thermometer). Remove from heat; stir in butter and baking soda. Pour onto buttered baking sheet, spreading thinly. Cool; break into pieces. Store in airtight container.
