Preparation:
Mix gelatin with cold water and set aside. Combine sugar, hot water, and
1/2 cup Karo. Cook to soft ball stage (240 degrees). Cool a few minutes.
Beat at full speed and add remaining Karo and gelatin ONE TABLESPOON AT A
TIME. Beat 7 to 8 minutes. Add vanilla. Pour into WELL GREASED molds.
Turn out and let cool.
NOTE: Cornstarch on your hands will make it easier to work with this
filling. |
