Choco-Peanut Bars

Ingredients:

  1                cup  packed brown sugar
     2/3           cup  PARKAY Margarine
  1                cup  peanut butter -- divided
  1           teaspoon  vanilla
  4               cups  old fashioned or quick oats -- uncooked
  1                cup  BAKER'S Real Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips
                        melted
  1                cup  coarsely chopped peanuts
 

Preparation:

Heat oven to 400 degrees. Mix sugar, margarine, 1/4 cup peanut butter and vanilla. Stir in oats. Press into lightly greased 15 x 10 x 1-inch jelly roll pan. Bake 10 minutes; cool 5 minutes. Stir together remaining peanut butter and chocolate; spread over crust. Sprinkle with peanuts. Chill; cut into bars. APPROXIMATELY 3 dozen
