Banana Bonanza Bars

Ingredients:

     3/4            C.  margarine
  1 1/4             C.  brown sugar
  1                     egg
  1                 C.  ripe banana -- mashed
     1/2          Tsp.  calamansi juice (lemon juice)
  1 1/2           Cups  flour
     1/2          Tsp.  baking soda
     1/4          Tsp.  salt
  2               Cups  oatmeal
  1                Cup  choco chips
 

Preparation:

Beat together butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Blend in eggs, bananas with calamansi juice. Sift together flour, baking soda and salt. Add to banana mixture, mix until thoroughly blended. Stir in oatmeal and 1/2 of chocochips. Spread into greased, lined, greased jelly roll pan. Sprinkle top with remaining chips. Bake at 350’F for 25 to 30 min or till golden brown. Cool thoroughly. Cut into bars.
