Serves: 1-1/3 cups
 

Ingredients:

     3/4  cup           packed brown sugar
     1/4  cup           sugar
   1      tbsp          cornstarch
   1      pinch         salt
   1      pinch         nutmeg
   1      pinch         cinnamon
     3/4  cup           light cream
   2      tbsp          butter
   1      pound         cake
                        fresh fruit
 

Preparation:

1. In 4-cup bowl, combine sugars, cornstarch, salt, nutmeg, and cinnamon. Stir in cream, and blend well. 2. Microwave on High for 5 mins or until thickened. Stir in butter until melted. Serve warm with fruit and poundcake.
