Ingredients:

  1 1/2           cups  flour
  1           teaspoon  baking powder
     1/8      teaspoon  baking soda
     1/8      teaspoon  nutmeg
     1/2           cup  butter
     1/4           cup  brown sugar
     1/3           cup  sugar
  1                     egg
     1/2      teaspoon  vanilla 1/2 cup candied pinapple 2
  1        tablespoons  almond slivers
 

Preparation:

Cream butter and sugar, add egg and mix well. Add all the other ingrediants. Mix well. Put into a wax paper lined loaf tin. Freeze overnight. Slice crosswise and bake at 350* for 10 to 12 minutes.
