Savory Meat Balls

Ingredients:

     1/2  pound         ground veal
     1/2  pound         ground beef
     1/2  pound         ground pork
   1      medium        onion
   2                    eggs
   1      teaspoon      salt
     1/4  teaspoon      pepper
   8      tablespoons   shortening
   2      cans          camp- -- (10 1/2 oz. each)
                        bell's tomato soup
   1 1/2  cups          water
   1      cup           sour cream
 

Preparation:

Combine ground meats together with bread crumbs, grated onion, slightly beaten eggs, salt and pepper. Shape into little balls size of walnut. Heat shortening; add meat balls, Cook over low heat until browned. Now add tomato soup and water. Cover tightly; cook over low beat for 1 1/4 hours, stirring occasionally. Stir in sour cream at last minute and beat.
