Creamy Tomato Beef Farfalle

Ingredients:

  1              pound  ground beef
     1/2         pound  ground pork
  1              large  onion -- chopped
  1             medium  green pepper -- diced
  1             clove   garlic -- minced
  28            ounces  tomatoes -- undrained, whole
  8             ounces  tomato sauce
  2             ounces  pimientos -- diced, drained
  8             ounces  farfalle -- uncooked (bow tie)
  2        tablespoons  sugr
  2          teaspoons  chili powder
     3/4      teaspoon  salt
  1                cup  sour cream
 

Preparation:

Cook ground beef and pork in 12" skillet, stirring frequently, until meat is brown; drain. Sir in remaining ingredients except sour cream. Heat to boiling, reduce heat. Cover and simmer about 20 minutes, stirring frequently, until pasta is tender. Stir in sour cream; heat through.
