Helen's Favourite Salad

Ingredients:

  4               cups  lettuce -- combination & torn*
     1/2           cup  radishes -- thinly sliced (4)
  1                     green onion -- sliced
  8          teaspoons  fat free Catalina dressing
  4                     leaf lettuce -- red-leaf
  1              ounce  ham, extra lean -- diced
  1              ounce  cooked chicken -- or turkey, diced
  1              ounce  reduced fat cheddar cheese -- cubed
     1/2         ounce  Swiss cheese, lowfat -- diced
  4              small  cherry tomatoes
  1              large  egg -- hard boiled, & slice
 

Preparation:

*use combinations of spinach, iceberg,romaine or leaf lettuce In a large bowl, combine torn lettuce, radishes and green onions. Pour salad dressing over the lettuce and toss gently. Add the ham and turkey and mix gently. Line 2 large salad bowls with the leaf lettuce, add the salad to the to the bowls, distributing evenly sprinkle the cheeses over the top and cut the cherry tomatoes into wedges, place the wedges and the sliced egg on top of the salad and serve.
